Hiking

The Companhia das Culturas is placed in the São Bartolomeu village, which is located in the barrocal sub region, dips into the tidal creeks and salt marshes of the Guadiana river, and stays at 1,5km from the foothills of the Sierra. Praia Verde, also 1,5km away, is the center of Monte Gordo bay, a vastness of temperate beaches which are hemmed with pinewoods and dunes. In Cacela Velha, 5km to the west, begins Ria Formosa.
